Victory Tischler-Blue Trivia

She was one of the first female directors hired by Playboy.
She is a partner in Girl Gang Films.
Worked with Academy Award-winning director 'Robert Blalack' and Emmy-winning executive producer 'Nancy Rushlow' for several years at "Praxis Film Works," where she was a visual-effects editor.
She is the second cousin of producer/editor 'Stanford Tischler'.
She rode horses and suffered a concussion in a childhood riding accident. For years, she suffered from epileptic seizures as a result.

In 1977, at age 17, 'Victory Tischler-Blue' joined the seminal 1970s all-girl band the Runaways, which also included future rock stars 'Joan Jett' and 'Lita Ford'. Two albums and three world tours later, the Runaways combusted and Tischler-Blue effectively left her musical aspirations behind, became a director/producer, and launched her own television and motion-picture production company, Sacred Dogs Entertainment. 2004 was a great year for Victory and Sacred Dogs Entertainment. Leather Forever (2004) (V) The Wild One Live! was released on DVD, as was the Edgeplay: A Film About The Runaways (2004) soundtrack CD. The Edgeplay: A Film About The Runaways (2004) DVD will be released in April 2005. Naked Under Leather (2004), the long-awaited biographical documentary motion picture on the original Queen of Rock 'Suzi Quatro', is set for release winter 2005 worldwide. Victory produced the following film projects: El camino del diablo (2005), Inside Ugly, Hollywood Trash & Tinsel (2004), and Lockout.

[About making the film Edgeplay: A Film About The Runaways (2004)] What I learned -- and to this day it still blows my mind that I was even there -- is that there's such a level of damage... We all were damaged from our stint in The Runaways.
